AT&T Brings Android 4.4.4 KitKat to the Galaxy S5
The Galaxy S5 on AT&T has been updated to Android 4.4.4 KitKat and they’ve even managed to add some bloatware in the process. Surprised? You shouldn’t be. The update is software version G900AUCU2AOA1 and the download comes in at a not-so-impressive near 500MB download. The full changelog is below, and yes, those new AT&T apps are what I mean by “bloatware”.

Second-Generation Moto G Gets Android 5.0.2 Lollipop in the Netherlands and Australia
Motorola is steadily rolling out their update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop this week with the Netherlands and Australia now jumping onboard. It looks like both software versions are 22.21.28.en.03 and these will update your Moto G (2014) to Lollipop with all the features that come with it. The software update is around 377MB in size, which isn’t too bad at all for a full system update like this.
Micromax’s Yu Yureka Gets First OTA Update
India’s Cyanogen-powered device is getting its first update this week. The Yu Yureka is getting updated to incremental software version XNPH05Q, while still running Cyanogen OS 11.0. This is a 73MB download, and basically tweaks the dual-SIM feature and the proximity sensor as well as other bug fixes here and there.

Verizon Update the Galaxy S5 to Lollipop
Every now and then, Verizon likes to go and surprise us, and this week they did just that. They updated the Galaxy S5 to Android 5.0.1 Lollipop – imagine that! They even did a fairly decent job of explaining some of the new features on their support page, but diehard Samsung fans will no doubt have seen every leaked video of the update available. Still, it’s nice that this update is here so quickly on Verizon, and for more info you can head to their official support site.
HTC One M7 Devices Get Android 5.0.2 Starting with Sprint and Developer Edition Handsets
The original HTC One (no no, not the One X guys) is getting updated to Android 5.0.2 this week. HTC have started with the Developer Edition of the handset which gets a massive 702MB update complete with Sense 6. The software version is 7.17.1540.7 and with Sense 6 onboard, this should bring with it many of the features from the HTC One M8 as well. Elsewhere, Sprint is rolling out the update, too. Sprint’s HTC One M7 is getting Android 5.0.1 with Sense 6 as well, and a software version of 6.16.651.2. You might have already downloaded it by now, but if you haven’t there’s a sizable 1.5GB RUU available from HTC here.
